Privacy policy

Last updated: October 2026

This policy explains what personal information Kensync collects through this website (kensync.co.ke), how it is used and what choices you have. It describes only what the website actually does.

What we collect

If you send an inquiry through the contact form, we receive:

  • your name and email address;
  • your phone number, if you choose to provide it;
  • the service you are interested in and your preferred way to be contacted;
  • the project description you write.

If you contact us directly by email, phone or WhatsApp, we receive whatever you choose to send us. We do not ask for more than we need to reply to you.

How we use it

We use your details to reply to your inquiry and to discuss the work you asked about. We do not sell your information and we do not add you to marketing lists from a contact form submission.

Who processes it

When you submit the form, our website server validates the message and sends it to Kensync by email through a transactional email provider (Resend). The website is hosted on Vercel, which processes requests to the site and may keep technical logs, such as IP addresses, for security and operation of the service.

To limit spam, the server temporarily counts submissions by connection in memory. This is not stored as a record about you.

Cookies, analytics and the map

This website does not use analytics or advertising trackers and does not set its own cookies. The location map is an embedded Google Maps frame that loads from Google when the page is viewed; Google may set cookies or collect information under its own privacy policy.

How long we keep it

We keep inquiries only as long as needed to respond and to follow up on the project you asked about. You can ask us to delete your information at any time.

Your rights

Under Kenya’s Data Protection Act, 2019, you may ask what personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, and object to certain uses. If you are not satisfied with how your data is handled, you may complain to the Office of the Data Protection Commissioner.
